Precision OD Grinder
Summary: Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
Primary Responsibilities
-Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as o.d. / i.d. micrometers and Vernier calipers.
-Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
-Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
-Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
-Program computers and electronic instruments such as numerically controlled machine tools.
-Set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Qualifications / Requirements
-Must meet all prescreen requirements.
-Ability to read and work off manufacturing prints, as well as precision measuring equipment such as I.D. and O.D. Mics and Calipers.
-Must be willing and able to work over time including weekends.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
