This position requires a individual who is able to efficiently conduct multiple daily tasks such as:
Checking-In/Out patients during their office visit.
Verify insurances effectively and collect all payments/balances as necessary.
Answer incoming telephone calls, assist customers by providing solutions to their inquiries/needs.
Schedule, cancel or re-schedule established/new patient's appointments.
Enter patient's demographics and insurance information in EHR accurately.
Update established patient's information in EHR.
Inform and assist patients about schedule changes, reconfirm patients' appointment as needed.
Make sure front desk is stocked with proper supplies and forms to provide to patients as required or needed.
Distribute, fax or scan any incoming/outgoing documentation and into patient's charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Must be dependable and customer service friendly.
