Job Description:
This job requires you to work outside a lot no matter the weather conditions.
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Director of Operations and the Director of Operations's team in daily operations.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of drivers, scheduling, and tracking inventory.
Essential Duties:
Work with drivers to ensure they are on time, safe, and ready to work.
Work with the office manager to ensure all drivers are on time, safe, and ready to work.
Work with the Director of Operations to ensure all drivers are on time, safe, and ready to work.
Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and ready for the next day's route.
Track inventory and order supplies for delivery.
Communicate with office manager on daily routes and schedule deliveries.
Manage driver communication and complaints.
Manage driver complaints in a professional manner.
Communicate with dispatch team about daily routes and schedule deliveries.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, willingness to learn new skills, and be able to work independently or in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will also be able to work safely with their hands as well as have a good sense of direction when driving.
