Working knowledge of industrial shredder operation Closely monitor machinery functions to ensure line is running within required operating conditions.
Initiate timely line adjustments to correct quality issues, in accordance with operating procedures and/or troubleshooting manuals.
Ensure lines and work areas are clean/orderly in compliance with daily housekeeping requirements checklists.
Notify Maintenance Engineers of issues requiring immediate attention.
Supervise and continuously monitor overall operation of equipment to guarantee safe and efficient working conditions.
Prioritize and balance workload of multiple project assignments based on business and functional objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of shredder operation in a manufacturing setting Must speak english (bi-lingual ok) Has worked with or understands different plastics products such as PVC, PP, LDPE Education:
High school Diploma or GED, College Experience is a plus but not necessary Strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance skills Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload Ability to lift 50lbs consistently Job Type:
