Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team at Nine 3 Six Dog Training.
As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our furry guests.
We are looking for someone to grow with our team.
On the job training is available - if fit for the task, team members are trained to promote from kennel tech to trainer.
For this entry level position, employee will receive a raise after 90 days.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, pottying, and exercise - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas - Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor - Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior - Assist with basic dog training exercises - Ensure the overall safety and well-being of all animals in the facility Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred (e.
g.
, kennel, veterinary assistant, pet sitting) - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Knowledge of animal behavior and basic training techniques - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed Job Type:
