36 an hour Duties - Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Practiceworks software - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and financial transactions, including processing payments and providing cost estimates to patients - Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on treatment plans - Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized Requirements - Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes - Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental practice management software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus Note:
